Terms And Conditions
The agreement between Honour Her and the family who enrols.
1. Who We Are
Honour Her is part of the Lamoureux Lane group of ventures. This Reaches Us.
2. What You Are Enrolling In
Honour Her is a series of rites of passage delivered by email. Each week a parent receives their letter first, then a shared invitation, then the daughter receives her own rite.
Each rite runs the length its work requires rather than a length chosen for symmetry. The current length of each is shown on that rite’s own page.
Honour Her is a programme of learning and reflection. It is not counselling, therapy, medical advice, or a substitute for any of them. If a child needs care, please seek it from a qualified practitioner. In an emergency in Australia, call 000. Kids Helpline is 1800 55 1800 and Lifeline is 13 11 14.
3. One Threshold, For Every Girl In Your Family
A Threshold belongs to the family who enrols. Every daughter in that family crosses it when her own time comes, carried by the one payment, from the first of them to the last.
A family may name younger children with their birthdates at the moment of enrolling. Naming a child costs you a moment, and begins when her own year comes. At the age a rite opens, the family either chose for it to begin on her own birthday, or chose to be asked first.
Where the family asked to be asked, the answer may be no — and “not yet, leave it with us” is a real answer. We ask again later rather than closing the door.
4. What It Costs
Prices are shown on each rite’s page in Australian dollars and include GST where GST applies.
A monthly Threshold is charged monthly until you end it. A weekly devotion is charged weekly until you end it.
A price change never applies to a family already enrolled without at least thirty days’ notice.
5. Ending It
End your Threshold at any moment — This Reaches Us. It ends at the close of the period already paid for, and the charging stops there.
Within the first fourteen days, if Honour Her is not what you hoped, write to us and we refund you in full. Ask, and it is done.
Beyond fourteen days we refund a payment made in error, a duplicate charge, or a period where the writing failed to reach you. This sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which these terms leave whole.
6. What Belongs To Whom
Every word a girl writes belongs to her. It is hers to keep and hers to take with her.
The rites themselves — the writing, the structure, the names — belong to Honour Her, and are licensed to your family for your family’s own use.
A rite stays inside your household.
7. The Account
A parent or guardian holds the account and is responsible for it. A person under eighteen may not enrol.
Keep your details accurate, so a rite reaches the right inbox at the right time.
8. Delivery
Rites arrive by email. We take reasonable care to see that each one arrives, and email being what it is, a letter occasionally goes astray. Tell us and we send it again.
If a technical fault of ours stops the writing reaching you for a period, we extend your Threshold by that period or refund it, whichever you prefer.
9. Where We Stand
We give you Honour Her with care, and the outcome for a particular child stays her own. Every girl arrives differently and crosses in her own time.
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Every right you hold under the Australian Consumer Law stands whole.
10. Changes
When these terms change we publish the new version here and change the date below. A change that materially affects you is sent to you, and you may end your Threshold if it does not suit you.
11. The Law That Applies
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia.
